OCTOBER FINANCIAL DAY: Thanks to Scott and Virginia, Dayboro Bakery, for continuing to sponsor our day. We were pleased that they could attend on the day and have a game with us. We know how busy they are, so thank them again for their support.
Winning Team was Desley’s Dayboro team with Audrey’s Kallangur team runners-up. Raffles went to Hazel, Dayboro and Glenda, Scarborough. Fruit and veg trays went to Carmen, Kallangur and Jeanette, Kallangur.
Apologies to Rita, who, in last month’s edition, I had playing for Deception Bay, where in fact she is a valued Dayboro member.
PENNANTS: It was great to see the articles in the October edition of the Grapevine and the October Bowler. The ladies are still celebrating.
NIGHT BOWLS are back again. If you would like to come and play, all welcome. It is much nicer playing in the cool of the evening. Bowls can be provided for new players. Sausage sizzle 6p.m. Play 6.30p.m. For more information phone the Club on 3425 1374.
WEDNESDAYS: This is ladies day, but men are welcome. Morning tea is at 9am, with play getting underway at 9.30am. Cost is $5 to play – BYO lunch. All welcome.
