NEWS FROM THE OLD MILL VET April 2010

Some of our more frequent visitors may have noticed there is a new friendly face here at the Old Mill Veterinary Surgery.
Dr Kylie Forster has recently joined our team after moving down from Cairns with her husband Matt.
A graduate of Melbourne University, Kylie has been working in mixed practice for the last 6 years, and brings with her a wealth of experience both in small animal medicine and surgery, as well as in horse, cattle, sheep, and alpaca medicine and surgery. Kylie’s special interests include small animal ophthalmology, small animal surgery, and both small animal and equine dentistry.
Kylie is also an active participant in the Australian Veterinary Association’s Pets and People Education Program, or PetPEP, having recently spoken at the Petrie Primary School to over 80 prep students about responsible pet ownership.
Outside of work Kylie keeps herself busy with four wheel driving and camping, scuba diving, squash, and spending time with the prized Border Collie, Zac!  We welcome Kylie to the Old Mill Veterinary Surgery as she joins Drs Annika Oksa Walker, Slade Walker, and Tania Bishop in serving all the animals in the Dayboro community and surrounding areas.
