A library spokesperson said the group would be ideal for writers wanting to meet other like-minded people and would give members a chance to discuss ideas, share work and get some advice.
Meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month, and romance novelist Amy Andrews, who writes for Mills and Boon, is already organised as the March 10 meeting’s guest speaker.
Meetings are free and bookings are not required, but for more information please contact Strathpine Library on 3480 6698.
