NETWORK TOPIC Sept 2008
Well we sure have a busy time coming up in September – Must be something to do with Spring and the warmer weather it is set to bring. I applaud the stalwarts of the Dayboro Players for their dedication to attending 2 rehearsals per week during these last cold weeks of winter!
Me – I just wish I was somewhere warmer . . . Maybe Darwin? Maybe that gets a little too warm . .
First off we have the Scout’s FRIDAY NIGHT BINGO on September 5, followed by the sign-on day for the Dayboro Dolphins Swimming Club on Saturday – and featuring a sausage sizzle lunch for its newly signed-up members.
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads on Sunday 7th Sept. Enjoy your day however you choose to celebrate it with your family.
Over the next weekend we have the Dayboro Players’ “Curse of the Golden Dagger” on the Friday and Saturday evenings of the 12th and 13th September; the Bush Dance at Mount Pleasant Hall on that Saturday too; and Mt Mee’s “Songs on the Mountain” on Sunday afternoon, 14th September.
We also have a sausage sizzle in front of the IGA, Saturday lunchtime. This is a fundraiser and an opportunity to meet the Dayboro 1st Responders and find out what they are about. It is Dayboro’s participation in the Ambulance Week activities. Ambulance Week runs from September 12 – 19.
