MEETING TO PLAN A COORDINATED FERAL DOG CONTROL PROGRAM

The Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC) and Queensland Government officers from EPA and DPI will meet in the Mt Mee Hall on Wednesday 29th April with landholders troubled by feral dogs which may camp in forestry country. 7pm sharp.

The Australian "National Wild Dog Facilitator" will be in Queensland at this time and will attend the meeting.
The object is to identify and map specific areas of State Forest and nearby grazing country and to earmark them for coordinated attention.
Council and EPA plan to pioneer this joint project in the Mt Mee, Ocean View and Mt Pleasant area and extend it throughout the D’Aguilar Range if it is successful.
Landholders have been pressing for action in the Crown’s Forestry lands for years. This is our chance to get it moving!
