It’s a whole new ball game this time around with these Local Government elections. No more Pine Rivers Shire Council . . . . no more Caboolture Shire Council, or Redcliffe City Council for that matter either!
This time we are voting for Mayor of the newly formed Moreton Bay Regional Council, as well as a Councillor for our area i.e. Division 11.
The five (5) candidates for Mayor of Moreton Bay Regional Council, in alphabetical order, are:
HOUSTON, Peter
GALVIN, Bryan
LEISHMAN, Joy
McNAUGHT, John
SUTHERLAND, Allan
The two (2) runners for Division 11 Councillor are:
BURR, Gary
MILLAR, Bob.
Aim to make an informed choice. Come along to Dayboro Community Hall on Tuesday 11th March to hear them all speak and respond to questions from the floor. Stay to enjoy a ‘cuppa’ and speak one-on-one with them all – and take the opportunity to catch up with other residents too.
