U3A Pine Rivers next social and information day will be held on Friday 16th May 2014 at LAWNTON COMMUNITY HALL, Cnr Ellis St and Todds Road, Lawnton.  This change of venue (for this month only) is due to maintenance at Bray Hall, Petrie.  Our day will commence at 10.00am and our Guest Speaker will be Elite Specialist Ruth Thompson from helloworld (formerly Harvey World Travel) Strathpine. 

Ruth will be sharing some of her world travel adventures and presenting some special holiday package deals currently on offer.  

Come along and share some great company and morning tea with good friends.  Learn about our new classes for the coming term, future bus trips, theatre outings, new theatre events at Redcliffe Cultural Centre, photography and walking group trips, renew your membership and join us anew.  We are in the process of establishing a choir and need the services of a piano player – so if you have the ability to help us out please come along.  

Our social days are free but you can support U3A Pine Rivers by purchasing raffle tickets at the door and offering a gold coin donation for your morning tea.

The 20th June 2014 meeting will be back at Bray Hall, Petrie when we will be presenting a combined Computer Expo (featuring iPad, iPod and tablet information classes)  and Craft sale day –jewellery, cards, dolls and various craft creations.
