May2014_As they ride away into the sunset together….

Dayboro locals Tony Wagner and Renae McGinn thrilled their friends and families when they tied the knot on Saturday the 29th of March 2014.  After a week of rain, the sun came out to shine on the happy couple as they exchanged their vows at Ocean View Estates Winery.

The couple surprised guests when the groom flew in by helicopter and the bride arrived on horseback alongside her father Ed McGinn.
Guests relaxed through the fun and laid back ceremony and reception which was based on a country theme.
During the ceremony, Renae’s daughters Angelique and Jasmine were presented with heart shaped lockets from the groom as a token of his love, support and commitment.  The girls responded by reading their own vows to the Groom leaving few dry eyes amongst the guests.
Tony and Renae met four years ago online, through a dating website, however they soon discovered that their families had a long history dating back to the 1950’s where their grandfathers were the best of workmates at Rochla Pipeworks.
A highlight of the ceremony was when Renae walked down the aisle to a mesmerising version of herself singing “Feels Like Home”, a song which she recorded through Kross Kut Records especially for her big day.
Renae wasn’t the only newlywed to showcase her talent when, later in the night, Tony played piano and sang a beautiful rendition of the Eric Clapton classic “Wonderful Tonight” to his new bride who couldn’t remove the smile from her face.
The couple received messages from some of Australia’s Country Music royalty with a telegram from Catherine Britt and personal video message and song from Troy Cassar-Daley.
Tony and Renae would like to send out a personal “Thank You” to all guests and local businesses that helped make their special day magical.
