May2013_TRAFFIC ALERT For Dayboro Day Festival
Residents of Heathwood Street and Millbrook Estate will also be affected by this closure!! (i.e. NO EXIT)
Williams Street Dayboro will be closed, from the McKenzie and Bradley Streets T-junction to the Railway Parade intersection, between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm.
Main access through the township will be via the road next to the Community Hall. As this is a single lane road and usually one-way, the “Stop” “Go” signage will be in operation.
This year, McKenzie Street will also be closed at Delaney Road and Williams Street/ Bradley Street intersection. This will affect residents on the Laceys Creek/ Mount Pleasant side of town (including as close to town as Cruice and Roderick Streets). Traffic to these areas will be able to enter and exit via a diversion between Don Kerr Memorial Drive and Mt Mee Road.
Be prepared to leave home a little earlier if you have sporting commitments etc. Remember that this makes it far safer for the pedestrians wandering along Williams Street during our Festival
