May2013_Joe Camilleri live at Ocean View Estates

Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows will headline this year’s annual Unwind in the Vines concert at Ocean View Estates on Sunday 9 June.
The event will unveil the band’s first new album in five years – Crooked Little Thoughts – which includes 24 new original songs to take the audience on a trip through all of Camilleri’s music loves: pop, rock, blues, jazz, soul, country and gospel.
Now in its fifth year, Unwind in the Vines is the Estate’s biggest event of the year, and is expected to attract more than 1000 visitors.
Hosted by Estate owners Kate and Thomas Honnef, the concert will be held on the lawn overlooking vineyards, with picnic rugs or folding chairs the must-bring item.
“This is unlike any other concert you’ve been to,” Kate said.
“We limit ticket numbers to ensure that there’s no huge crowds to contend with, which means our guests can get up close and personal with the artists to enjoy fabulous music, great wine and beautiful food in a relaxed atmosphere.”
The event will also feature performances by local band The Night Sleepers, who will be releasing their new album for sale on the day, and Estate favourites The Redsell Brothers.
Gates open at 11am, with music from 12.30 to 5.30pm, and tickets are on sale now.
Food and wine will be available on the lawn, or guests can book to dine in the restaurant from 11am.
Tickets are $45 for adults and $35 for children under 15, with children under three free.
Bookings can be made by phoning 3425 3900 or on the Estate’s website:
