~ OPEN DAY for SAMFORD VALLEY’S ONLY HIGH SCHOOL ~

Steiner Education will be on show at Samford Valley Steiner School on Saturday 15 May.

“Our Open Day will enable all those who have heard about the worldwide growth of Steiner education to come and find out for themselves how the Steiner approach prepares students to become valued contributors to society,”explains, school administrator, Joan Weir.
The program for the day includes musical performances, talks on the early childhood experience and learning in the primary and high school years as well as workshops on different curriculum aspects.
Teachers will be available throughout the day to answer questions.  There will also be classroom displays showcasing the creativity that underpins the aspect of Steiner education.
In addition to the students’ work being exhibited throughout the school, books, art supplies and handicrafts created by the school’s parent community, will be available to purchase in the school’s community space, The Hub.
Throughout the day there will be tea and coffee and wholesome food available.
The Open Day runs from 10am – 2pm on Saturday 15 May.
