Mar2015_WEDDING – George and Melisa Spillman
On Saturday 28th February 2015, friends and family gathered in Dayboro to celebrate the wedding of Melisa Mayenco to George Spillman.
Melisa is the eldest daughter of Manny and Elisa Mayenco of Deception Bay and George is the son of Doreen Spillman, brother to Sabrina Spillman and grandson of Marian Krause – all Dayboro residents.
George and Melisa’s 2 beautiful children – Calais, turning 3 in May and Sebastian turning 1 in March – almost stole the limelight as ring bearers. Sebastian was a bit wobbly, as he is still getting the hang of walking.
The wedding service was held in Henzell’s Chapel, in its scenic setting at Mt Pleasant. Thank you to the Henzell family for making this available for public use.
The reception was held at the Dayboro Showgrounds, with a friend of the couple providing his DJ equipment for the dancing pleasure of the wedding party and guests – and dance they did until it was time to stop the music.
