URBAN… the affordable festival!
The 2015 Urban Country Music Festival can not only pride itself on a massive 3 day line-up including some of the biggest names in the Australian music industry, but also on having undoubtedly one of the best value for money events in the country. With entry to the event from as little as a gold coin donation, it really is the affordable festival.
The Urban Country Music Festival, held over the weekend of 1–3 May, 2015, kicks-off on Friday night with an expansive open-air concert featuring the likes of 8 Ball Aitken and Beccy Cole with tickets at just $35. Saturday sees Caboolture’s Historical Village and Parklands precinct come to life with unmissable performances from an incredibly extensive and diverse list of acts from The Delta Riggs to Lee Kernaghan and The Cairos to Christie Lamb, and all that’s in between. With over 30 acts on Saturday alone there is something for everyone with tickets available at the unbelievably low-price of just $50, a paltry “pineapple”!
The 12th Annual Urban Country Music Festival wraps up on the Sunday in a blaze of glory with two large outdoor bonfires among performances from over 25 acts including Casey Barnes, Kiara Rodrigues & Alabaster Ink and 2014 Voice of Urban Country Winner, Wal Neilsen – with an entry fee of simply a gold coin donation for the whole day’s activities, you can bring the entire family for under $10… and probably your neighbours too for that matter! Not only are you getting to experience all that the festival has to offer but you will also be supporting a great cause and one that is close to our hearts with a portion of the proceeds from Sunday going to the local SES and Rocksberg Rural Fire Brigade.
Also included in all entry fees is access to all of the Festival attractions including entertainment stages, market stalls, a variety of workshops including the Rhythm Culture Drumming workshop (Saturday only), as well as a complimentary photo booth and of course no self-respecting festival this side of the QLD border would be complete without Mechanical Bull rides!
We have also made it even cheaper and easier for those with even the slightest case of the dreaded FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) with weekend passes available from just $75 for THE ENTIRE EVENT!
And if that’s not enough, add to this affordable powered and unpowered campsites and the 2015 Urban Country Music Festival could possibly be the cheapest weekend getaway on offer in the country!
