– Sgt Troy NOWITZKI – Ex-Dayboro Police.
For those of you townsfolk who are interested, I keep in touch with Sgt Ken Robinson’s ole offsider, Troy Nowitzki, on a regular basis. Doesn’t seem that long ago that we had him promoted to Sergeant and booted him out to St George.
Well, the ole bloke is on the move again. Troy managed to pick up the position of Sergeant OIC of Mission Beach Police in North Queensland.
He will have three Police officers under him. His lovely wife, Mardi, has picked up a position with the Innisfail detectives. The big move takes place on 11 March.
Now get this, his Police residence is 300 metres from the beach and 100 metres from the Police Station – how cool is that? Their elder son, Leith, started school this year as well. It’s all happening in the Nowitzki household.
