ARTIST OF THE MONTH – Sandra Nichols
Dayboro Art Gallery Artist of the Month for March has a love of flowers and aims to create works which reflect the vibrancy of her favourite subject matter. Sandra Nichols has held a long time interest in all things art and craft, which has progressed into a love of painting.
Initially experimenting and having tutorage in oil painting, her strong interest in the work of botanical artists has led to her focus on using watercolours to create her paintings. A recent journey through Western Australia during the wild flower season has renewed and invigorated her passion for this art form.
