The Chairman of the Bendigo Community Bank, Jason Delisser, will officially open the show at 12:30pm on Easter Saturday.
Entry is by donation and the proceeds will go to support the great work of Samford Valley’s First Responders.
The art show will be open 30th March, 10am – 4pm, 31th March 1pm – 4pm and 1st April 10am – 4pm.  Eftpos facilities will be available.
Support from the Bendigo Community Bank and the Samford Progress and Protection Association has given this community based art group the opportunity to showcase their collective talents.
Samford Artworks has a two hour life drawing studio the first Monday of each month.  Master classes are usually held mid month for either a full day, or two half days taught by professional artists in the old Catholic Church Hall, Samford.  The classes are small, typically 10 – 12 students, offer great value and open to all ages and abilities with lots of fun to go around.
Over the years, convenor of Samford Artworks, Billeen Finch, has found practising professional artists to be “generous teachers, only too happy to travel to our beautiful valley to share their knowledge and techniques to all skill levels.”
For more information on master classes please call Billeen on 3289 1863 and Jana on 3285 1083 for life drawing.
