Mar2013_Dayboro Art Exhibition at Redcliffe
Excitement at the Dayboro Gallery as members prepare for an exhibition away from the local gallery.
The exhibition “Dayboro Meets Redcliffe” will be held at The Stage Door, Redcliffe Cultural Centre at Redcliffe from Monday 23rd APRIL until Friday 20th MAY opening from 9am to 4pm daily.
This is the first time Dayboro Gallery has mounted an exhibition away from “home” and the location is reflected in the title: “Dayboro Meets Redcliffe”
A wide variety of work will be exhibited from well known artists including Lorraine Emerson, Robert Bradfield, Alice Sleeman, Jane Zadow, Joan Gerry, Warren Watson, Trevor Ryan, Bea Simpson, Majella Holton, and Helen Hornibrook. Most of these artists have won prizes at local events.
Paintings, metal sculpture, glass, decoupage and felt work will be on show.
President Warren Watson, recently elected for another year, has been busy preparing his work for exhibition.
