If you’re an artist, budding artist, or you just like to get creative, Ocean View Estates has launched a fresh new Drink and Draw concept in partnership with local artist Lorraine Emerson.
The 3D (Dinner, Drink & Draw) and 2D (Drink and Draw) monthly events bring together like-minded people to learn, share ideas and be inspired in a fun, social atmosphere with professional guidance on hand.
The concept is just one part of a new campaign by Thomas and Kate to bring art and wine together. They also hosted the launch of Lorraine Emerson’s new exhibition, Mindscapes, and are planning to hold an artists Expo in May, followed by a series of workshops in the following months.
The next Drink and Draw session will be held on 21 March, with tickets starting at $15.

Tickets are also on sale for the Estate’s March 9th Degustation Dinner, hosted by Winemaker Thomas, featuring four courses each with matching wine, and finishing with a taste of the Estate’s first-ever Tawny Port from the barrel. The coveted Port will be released on its tenth birthday this year.
In the vineyard, Thomas and his team, along with many local workers, beat the February rains to bring in the Estate’s biggest crop in years. With picking complete, it’s back to the winery to turn the bumper crop into another great vintage.
