Mar2012_Samford and Districts Chamber of Commerce
gets up close and personal with State Government candidates
We kicked off 2012 at our February breakfast with Mike Boyd, a highly sought after expert in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), leadership training and professional facilitation. Mike highlighted some brilliant sales strategies and tips – and pointed out we are all selling something everyday – even if it is getting the kids to eat their vegetables!
At our March breakfast, the Chamber will be hosting an informal Question and Answer session for our State Government candidates to help inform your decision when it comes polling day. We’ll be interested to learn more about the candidates’ background and history … and then it will be an open Q&A session from attendees.
Geoff Wilson (ALP) has held the Ferny Grove electorate since 1998 but some analysts suggest that primary votes and the flow of preferences may make all the difference this election. Candidates who have confirmed they will be attending the breakfast include Geoff Wilson (ALP), Dale Shuttleworth (LNP) and Howard Nielsen (Green). We have been advised by The Queensland Party that Jason Somerville has withdrawn.
So if you want to know what motivates our local candidates, or have some questions you’d like answered in a face-to-face format, make sure you don’t miss this breakfast.
