Mar2012_ROCKING THE MOUNTAIN

On 14th April 2012.
Greg Henderson’s  rock band  “Stone Lane” – (aka “Hendo’s Hot Four”) will feature with the fabulous “Elvis Parsley” – (aka Nick Comino) at the Mt Mee Hall “Rock and Roll Night” on Saturday evening , 14th April, from 7.30pm.

With his retirement from small business, Greg is at last able to give his music proper attention.  His band “Stone Lane” is making quite a name for itself performing classic 60s R&R, Beatles music and Blues Rock at regular hinterland gigs.
Likewise, since retirement from his Woodford busines, Nick has been able to get seriously involved in the S.E. Queensland entertainment industry.  We are very fortunate that he is able to fit our function into his busy professional schedule.  As those who saw and heard his last Mt Mee performance will agree, Nick is not just another Elvis impersonator, he is a born entertainer who should never have been trapped by cabbages and onions.
So we look forward to a great fun night.
The emphasis is on dancing.  Our legendary floor will be well prepared and numbers will be capped to ensure that there is plenty of dancing room available to the enthusiasts.
This is the first of the ‘new look’ dances to be run since ending the monthly New Vogue events in January this year.  It will feature table seating, a well stocked and very affordable licensed bar, an excellent supper, and is aimed squarely at Mountain residents and friends.  Admission and supper will cost just $20.00.
So please support your hall.  Get up a table, and to misquote one William Haley Esquire – “Get your glad rags on and join us hon, we’re gonna rock right on till the clock strikes ??”
Booking is essential for catering and seating reasons – phone Kay – 5498 2104 or Joyce – 5498 2270.
