Absolutely awesome weather for the Dayboro Day Festival on Sunday 27th May!!
I don’t know about you, but the day seemed to be over “in a flash” . . . .  but perhaps that is just that “age thing” again . . . You know!  That thing where when you are young it seems to take forever for the next weekend to come along, but, as you get older, time seems to just pass in the blink of an eye, and an entire week has seemingly flown by before you know it!!
Congratulations to this years recipients of the Dayboro Day Awards:
RESIDENT OF THE YEAR
 DIANE BELL
YOUNG ACHIEVER
 HARRY THOMSON
BUSINESS RECOGNITION
 OLD MILL VETERINARY SURGERY
(Read about them in the Dayboro Day Awards article.)
New on stage this year, “Screamin Steven & the Heathens” provided excellent entertainment!  Another new item was the 1950’sFashions by A Little Bit Vintage and the young ladies looked very feminine – vastly different to many of the current fashion trends.
Congratulations on a job well done . . . again . . . for the festival’s organising committee.
Thank you to the Dayboro Lions Club for the certificate which was presented to me at your May meeting (see Lions article).
Doreen.
