Lyn Bowtell’s “Secret Songs”
Lyn Bowtell has been in the background and in our ears for a few years now since her last project Bella, but now its her turn to grace the stage and and spotlight with her album Secret Songs.
Lyn is no stranger to the industry having already clocked up an impressive array of awards including 2 golden guitars, a MO Award and she is even a past Star maker winner.
This album is Eclectically brilliant and showcases Lyn’s big personality and big voice proving she can sing anything her heart desires. A masterful album with the most intriguing and captivating interpretations of the oasis hit Wonderwall. Aside from the cover, almost all the tracks were penned by Lyn about her life and world as she sees it.
Produced by Sean Rudd, this album is a mix of songs written at all different times in Lyn’s life but one of the most beautiful aspects of the album is its dedication to the biggest musical influence in her life – her Dad.
Lyn Bowtell’s Secret Songs offers a richness of musical talent and expression too rarely seen in today music taking you on a deliberate journey through both time and genre, although not strictly Country though it is definitely a must have.
