June 2010 . . Junior Farmers / Rural Youth Reunion

Were you ever a member of a Rural Youth or Junior Farmers Club in your young days?
If you were, you may or may not be aware that Reunions have been held in the Sample Bag Pavillion on the first Sunday of the EKKA for the past few years.

This year is the 60th anniversary, so that venue will not be large enough.  John Nutting and Ken Gold have organised the event to be held on Sunday 8th August at the Brook Hotel Motel (opposite Brookside Shopping Centre) in Mitchelton.

Contact any past members you know and we will have a chat on the day.   Peter and I both belonged to Strathpine Club, but had wonderful friends from Dayboro, Caboolture and Samford areas as well.
