June 2010 . . Dear Editor
With the ‘Letters to the Editor’ and police warning on shonky Contractors doing driveways, (Dayboro Grapevine Edition 4 Vol 19) I feel it is appropriate to make the following comment, on a local Company that could not be faulted.
After the recent storms and usage I needed to have my driveway repaired or bitumened, as you would appreciate this is an expensive item and of course obtained quotes for the work from local Tradesmen. One particular Company stated he would come out at a certain time and give me a quotation, he did, at the time he stated!! (First surprise!!!). His quote was very competitive and it arrived the following day, I in turn accepted. Angus then stated he would commence at 7.30 a.m. on a certain day. He and his workman arrived right on time, (second surprise). During the preparation, the quality of the work and the helpfulness could not be faulted. Unfortunately the weather was not the best during construction and this delayed things for a few days. However, constant updates and communication from Angus was very much appreciated. The job was completed to my entire satisfaction with attention to detail that I hope my staff give our clients.
With the existing financial climate and warnings of shonky operators, it is refreshing to have Tradesman with Acreage Driveways/Angus McMillan with customer relations and pride in their work that can only be highly recommended to others making this outlay.
