Jun2013_BAI RUI TAE KINDY

Dayboro now has Tae-Kindy and Tae-Kwon-Do local fun and fitness for your family
Are you looking for an affordable sport for your young child that teaches FITNESS / FOCUS / SELF-DEFENCE / CONFIDENCE / DISCIPLINE AND STRUCTURE?
Children do not have to be of school age before they can start a fun family activity. Tae-Kindy is a junior version of Tae-Kwon-Do starting children as young as 3 years old.  Our newly founded Tae-Kindy group in Dayboro is a junior chapter of the accredited Bai Rui International Tae-Kwon-Do Federation.  The Bai Rui Tae-Kwon-Do School was established 25 years ago and has over 35 branches within southeast Qld.
The Dayboro Club started around 23 years ago in the Dayboro hall.  Tae-Kindy, the junior version of Tae-Kwon-do, started this year in April.  The Founder Master Charles Birch taught the very first Tae-Kindy class in Dayboro.  It was an honour to have him teach the class.  Master Charles Birch is one of the highest ranking Master instructors in Australia.
Tae-Kindy is held Tuesday afternoons from 4.30-5.30pm only at this stage, but more classes would be considered on other days should demand require it.  Enquiries are welcome.  We have many parents join and train alongside their children.  All are welcome regardless of fitness or skill level.  Tae-Kindy Instructor Mrs Karen McCarthy is your friendly local contact. She can be reached on 0459 252 049.  Karen works under the guidance of Mrs Sue Meek.
Mrs Sue Meek, the local Tae-Kwon-Do instructor, is a 1st Dan Black Belt having trained and competed in America last year. She has added to her already vast and wide skill base through her international training.  Mrs Meek has been attending the Dayboro club for some 10 years now.  Senior training from age 7 upwards is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.30-7pm with additional training on Thursday nights for the most senior members of our club.
Train in a family oriented, safe and supportive environment with quality instructors who are passionate about Tae-Kwon-Do and care for the individual needs of every student.  Meet new friends and learn many self-defense techniques that will work for you.  Always wanted to try?  Now is your chance! The first 2 lessons are free for all classes!  We also offer great discounts for families.
Contact the Bai Rui Tae-Kwon-Do School via our website www.bairui.com or simply call Mrs Karen McCarthy on 0459 252 049 or Master Charles Birch on 3325 1180 for more information.  Each club also has a face book page.

(Dayboro did previously have Tae Kindy classes running but these ceased many years ago.  Now a resurgence in demand has seen its reintroduction.    Ed.)
