Pine Rivers VIEW Club had 35 members and guests enjoying a good lunch together and listening to a very interesting talk from Bruce Uhlhorn who is the international Chair for Radio Lollipop.
Radio Lollipop broadcasts to children in hospitals to help make a child’s stay in hospital more fun and less frightening.
The next meeting will be in the Griffin Room of the Murrumba Downs Tavern on Wednesday July 16th 10.30 for 11am. Visitors are made very welcome and we would love to see you. This will be a Christmas in July extravaganza and everyone is asked to don their Christmas finery. The cost of the meal will be $25 to cover the Christmas Fare.
VIEW clubs around Australia are affiliated with the Smith Family who support disadvantaged children with schooling etc. The Pine Rivers VIEW club supports 3 children.
