July 2010 WANDERERS RETURN
Dayboro Anglican Church has welcomed home Jim and Dulcie Williams from their five week overseas tour.
Jim and Dulcie travelled to Canada and Alaska, and highlights of their tour included the Rocky Mountains and Niagara Falls. Their photo was taken aboard the Volendam, the Holland America Line ship on which they cruised to Alaska, viewing glaciers and remote fishing settlements.
“We saw a lot of beautiful places, and it was very interesting,” said Jim, “But it’s good to be home!”
Dulcie usually does an outstanding job running the St Aidan’s church stall on Dayboro Day, but she had to be excused this year because the Williams were flying back in from North America on the very day of the festival! Noelene Brown stepped into the gap, and did a fantastic job leading the volunteer workforce.
