July 2010 LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
I feel really proud.
I loved doing what I have done over all these years, and will continue to do so for as long as I can.
I have a few years left in me as I am only 80 years old.
Congratulations to the Committee who run Dayboro Day, also the Bus Line running from the Show Grounds to Town – excellent. Thank you one and all,
Edna Wruck.
SINCERE THANKS
Jean Rowe and her family would sincerely like to thank everyone for their love and support during their recent bereavement.
Jean hasn’t finished replying to all the cards and floral arrangements, but will do so as soon as possible.
THANK YOU TO THE DAYBORO COMMUNITY
On behalf of my family and myself I would like to thank all the people of the Dayboro community for their help and support whist I was ill with cancer. In Dayboro we have such amazing people living in our community and I can’t thank you all enough for your generosity. Knowing there were people out there to help us was such a big relief that words cannot express. Even the worst day can be made beautiful when kindness touches it.
Our family would like to say a special thank you to Mrs. Mac from Dayboro State School for everything you have done for us. We are very grateful. Dayboro is so lucky to have this lady living in our community. I am sure she is a runaway angel from heaven.
And Craig Doyle we cannot thank you enough, you are always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. May god bless you and your family.
Peter and Michelle Schoots you both are incredible people – we are very blessed to have you both in our lives. Without you both, I doubt we would have been able to cope. You have our sincerest thanks.
Kim and John Alexander (Mt Mee Pit Stop): Thank you for all you have done. Sometimes we take it for granted, to have friends so true.
Dr Paul Inglis and the Casserole Bank Cooks: You people are amazing. To give your time and energy to cook meals for people in need is just incredible. Many a night my family relied on your beautiful meal after spending 12 -14 hours at the hospital. What a relief is was to know they could go home to home cooked dinners.
Dayboro Apex: I can not say thank you enough. Without your generous gift there is no way my family would have been able to be with me due to the ridiculous parking fees and they were my strength. So I thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my mum and family.
And lastly Jim and Anne Dowling. Thankyou so much for your help with the children. We would have been at a loose end without you.
Yours Sincerely
Leandrea Goves.
