Have your say at Community Comment sessions
Ratepayers and residents will have the chance to have their say at Community Comment sessions during general meetings of council. Councillors approved the Community Comment sessions, allowing members of the community to address councillors directly regarding issues they would like to raise.
Each statement by a resident or ratepayer will be referred by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to a future meeting of the relevant council committee.
Any resident or ratepayer of Moreton Bay region wishing to address council is required to complete an application form that must be received by the CEO seven days prior to the general meeting they would like to speak at.
Application forms will be available from Caboolture, Pine Rivers and Redcliffe district offices of Moreton Bay Regional Council.
