GRANTS SYSTEM ONLINE

Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, would like to make community groups aware that they can now submit their applications for grants online.

“Community groups can now apply for grants for the Gambling Community Benefit Fund and Jupiters Casino Community Benefit Fund online,” Carolyn Male MP said.
“Further, if a community group is successful in being approved for funding, all aspects of the grant will be managed electronically.”
“The Gambling Community Benefit Fund helps grassroots community and not-for-profit groups deliver services to their local community,” Carolyn Male MP said.
“The Fund invests in community groups to enhance their ability to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities to Queenslanders in their local communities.”
“In giving something back to the community, the grants recognise the excellent work of these groups and ensure that the whole State, on balance, derives tangible benefits from gambling revenue.”
The closing dates for 2010 funding applications will be:
28 February
31 May
31 August
30 November
The new grants system is available online from 1 September 2009.
