Feb2015_THANK YOU
Just a note to thank you for the fabulous coverage you gave us in the September edition prior to the Benefit Concert for Sarah McGuiness on the 4th of October 2014. I know the article sparked a lot of interest and donations from the generous people in and around Dayboro.
At the end of December we were able to give Sarah $23,341.80 to help with her costs for the stem cell treatment she so desperately needs. Although this is less than half the cost of her treatment she is extremely grateful for the generosity extended by all who contributed to the fund.
Sarah will leave Australia on the 14th of February, which is now less than a month away, and we are hoping the treatment will achieve all that she wishes it to.
Thank you once again for your help with our fund raising, and for giving her story such a prominent position, this benefit has shown me how many wonderful people there are here in our little part of the world.
