Dear Editor,
"With special thanks"
Recently my husband had a terrible farm accident that has required him to be in a wheelchair for the next couple of months.  There are a few locals that we would like to sincerely thank.
Mark Sellin for making ramps to enable me to move Gary around the house. (Both in & out)
John King at the hire shop and the local branch of the Lions Club for the use of a wheelchair for as long as is necessary for my husband to become mobile again at no cost to us.
This again proves to us what wonderful people are out there in our community willing to help.
Thank you
Annette Elliott,
Ocean View. Q.
Dear Editor,
A very big thank you to the many people and organisations assisting with the 2012 Christmas Hampers.  It was a big success.  We were able to provide hampers of food and toys to 40 homes comprising 83 adults and children, referred by local agencies, service providers and organisations. Specifically our thanks go to local church members, the IGA, Lions, Hartnett Funerals, Ray White Real Estate, Dayboro Butchers and many generous individuals across the Dayboro community.  The big team of packers and deliverers worked long hours to ensure we achieved our goal.  Although this is an annual event, the work of the Combined Churches Family Support Project continues throughout the year and we expect to see an increase in demand for assistance from our Pantry in 2013.
Dr Paul Inglis,
Ocean View. Q.
