Well here we are in 2013!!! Happy New Year to all our wonderful friends. We wish you all a fabulous 2013 and hope you drop in for a chat soon.
Blue Care Linda has a well planned schedule of activities prepared for us for the coming months. We would love to welcome new people to the group.
We meet every Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. in the Uniting Church Hall.

Linda runs a very relaxed schedule and people are welcome to come for the whole four hours or just a cuppa if they wish. Morning tea and lunch are provided and a gold coin donation is appreciated, however not essential. The Dayboro Combined Churches support our group and provide the lunch.

We farewelled 2012 with a very entertaining concert featuring the Wendy Murray Choir, Brian Maggs on piano and Bill Turner playing his trusty guitar. The hall was really rocking with lively songs and beautiful carols. A delicious lunch followed with heaps of fun and laughter.
We kicked off 2013 with a visit from our friendly policeman, Senior Sergeant Paul Waples. Paul gave us a brief insight into his career in the police force and answered questions from the floor. He then entertained us with an informative and enlightening talk on Gallipoli.
Paul is well versed on the subject and has been fortunate enough to travel to Gallipoli. He gave us a guided tour (via computer slides and photos) of the various battle sites and also explained the horrendous conditions that our diggers, as well as those from New Zealand, had to endure. Thanks Paul, we are extremely grateful.
