Feb2011 CASH FOR CREATIVITY
Creative locals will again have the opportunity to turn their aspirations into reality as the Regional Arts Development Fund has opened its first round of funding for 2011.
Grants, typically ranging between $250 and $15,000, may be used for a wide range of arts development activities including professional development, innovative arts, culture or heritage projects, as well as workshops, concept, development and tourism initiatives.
Previous allocations have delivered a range of community focused festivals, craft, heritage, music and theatrical activities throughout the region.
The Regional Arts Development Fund is a Moreton Bay Regional Council and Queensland Government partnership supporting local and upcoming artists and cultural endeavours.
Applications opened from Monday, February 1 and close on Monday, March 14 (for projects commencing after June 1, 2011). Funding outcomes will be announced in May.
