The guest speaker will be historian Geoff Hopkins-Weise.  Geoff will talk on the final 100 gruelling days of World War 1.  The experiences of the Queensland raised 26th Battalion and other units of the Australian Imperial Force gives insight into the Western Front in the lead up to the Armistice signed on the 11/11/1918.

Geoff has a display on “The Final 100 Days” at the Pine Rivers Heritage Museum at Petrie, until the 27th May 2018.
