Throughout October, more than 220,000 Year 12 students will complete their final exams – one of the most stressful times of their lives.  Many Year 12 students feel like their entire life depends on their results, but those of us who’ve been through it know there’s life after.

The ‘There’s Life After Exams’ campaign is run by Australia’s leading online mental health service ReachOut.com. ReachOut.com was established as a national non-profit organisation in 1998 in direct response to Australia’s escalating rates of youth suicide, with the service now receiving more than 2 million visitors per year.

Reach out to a student this month to let them know there’s life after Year 12 exams by sharing a video from ReachOut.com/thereslifeafter, or create your own video and share it with the hashtag #thereslifeafter.

My annual Seniors’ Guide is now available.  The book features handy contact numbers for emergency services, federal government departments, and local community groups.  For your free copy please contact my office on 3205 9977.

William Tyrrell was only 3-years-old when he disappeared.  The NSW Police believe he was abducted and may still be alive.

The ‘Where’s William? Campaign’ was launched to provide the community with more information about little William Tyrrell’s disappearance with the aim of finding him and bringing him home to his family where he belongs.

In collaboration with the NSW Police Force and with the support of the Australian Federal Police, Bravehearts Inc. is working closely with William’s family to reach out to the community hoping to generate information that will assist Police in the investigation of William’s disappearance.

To help raise awareness of the Where’s William? campaign locals are encouraged to share the Facebook page and download the Where’s William? posters to put in shopfront windows.
