“THE LAZY LOSER” – Losing weight, getting fit and busting food myths will all be on the table when author Marie Bean visits Moreton Bay Region Libraries from December 4 to 12 to talk about her new book The Lazy Loser.

Open Gardens Australia is holding an open day at “Tearman”, 12 Endwood Court, Highvale on Saturday and Sunday 7th and 8th December from 9.00 am to 4.30pm. Entrance is $7 (U18 free).
Open Gardens Australia is a self-funding, not for profit organisation dedicated to promoting the enjoyment, knowledge and benefits of gardening in the Australian community.
The refreshments are being provided by the Samford and District School’s Chaplaincy Committee to aid their fundraising efforts. There will be plant sales and talks given by “Bob the Bee Man” about Australian stingless bees. There are many hives in the garden, which is a bee friendly garden with many areas starting to assume a very natural look. So come enjoy and be informed.
