FRIDAY NIGHT MEALS – Last meal for 2013 – 6 December.  Re-opens Friday 17 January 2014.

NEW YEARS EVE:  The Club is planning this event and expect a family fun night.  Good music, light supper, finger food.  For more information phone the Club 3425 1374.

CLOSURE LADIES DAYS – Last day will be Wednesday 27 November.  Re-open Wednesday 5 February 2014.

CLOSURE MENS CLUB – Christmas Eve and re-opens Wednesday night 8 January 2014.

 

NOVEMBER FINANCIAL DAY:  We were very happy to have Vicki Pain, Ray White Rural Dayboro sponsor this day.  We were also pleased that Vicki and her parents, Bill and Beryl (all the way from Cooroy), could attend on the day and have a game with us.  They also stayed for lunch and presented the prizes to the winners – Desley’s Dayboro team and Runners-up Noela’s Bramble Bay team.  Edna decided to award a special mystery prize on the day, which was the team which Tried the Hardest.  This went to Joan’s Samford team.  Spiders went to Narelle, Samford and Desley, Dayboro.  RAFFLES:  Christmas Hamper to Lynne, Dayboro; and Christmas Gift Voucher to Jan, Pine Rivers.  Fruit and Veg trays went to Chris, Dayboro and Robyn, Brighton.

Thanks again Vicki and look forward to next year when your Mum and Dad bring a team from Cooroy.

 

COMPETITIONS:  Congratulations to all players who participated in the competitions this year.  We are still waiting on Consistency to be concluded.  The results for the "A" Grade and "B" Grade are:

NIGHT BOWLS are back again.  If you would like to come and play, all are welcome.  It is much nicer playing in the cool of the evening.  Bowls can be provided for new players.  Sausage sizzle 6pm.  Play 6.30pm.  For more information phone the Club on 3425 1374.

WEDNESDAYS ladies day but men welcome.

Note: 2014 is bringing changes.  Ladies will commence play at 9am.  Morning tea on arrival, and play will be 21 ends.  This change is because we need the practice for Pennants next year (Division 3).  If there are people who just want to play social and still play from 9.30am till 11.30am this will be accommodated.  $5 to play.  BYO lunch.  All welcome.
