Dec2013_CAROLS UNDER THE BIG TREE
December 15 at Samsonvale
Over the Christmas period, travel the road between Dayboro and Samford and you will see the Samsonvale Christmas tree lights which adorn the 100ft tree in Ian Kent’s paddock. This is where the Carols Under the Big Tree are to be held – follow the lights . . . . and the signs . . . . . to access the paddock.
The BBQ is lit around 4.30 – 5pm, available to cook your food and share time with friends and neighbours.
Santa set to arrive at dusk – Suggest you be there by 6pm !
This is a traditional district annual event, running now for decades. It is a joyous time of friendship in an open paddock, singing, Santa etc. All are welcome. Bring your blanket, or table and chairs, candles, drinks and picnic. We look forward to seeing you there.
