LOCAL FAMILIES CELEBRATE
On the 8th October 2011, Darryl and Cheryl Kriesch watched on proudly as their son, Carl married Ingrid, daughter of Ian and Narelle Wills at All Saints Anglican Church Chermside, where his parents, grandparents and great-grandparents were also married.

Later their reception was held in the beautiful Samsonvale Hall which also held very fond memories for the two families.  Not only did the parents of both the Bride and Groom meet at the local Samsonvale Dance, but Ingrid and Carl along with their sisters and brothers, came along as babies in their bassinets, serenaded to sleep by the band.  Then as they grew a little, all the kids enjoying Mr and Mrs T’s lolly drops before supper, while the boys just loved to have a slide on the dance floor, only between dances, of course.
The Hall came alive with lantern lights which certainly was a step back in time to yesteryear.  The theme of everything country was displayed from the beautiful flowers in old milk cans used as giant vases, homemade jams and lemon butter, a kids and old fashioned lolly corner and even beautiful cut and polished timber log centrepieces on the tables with all the family and close friends getting involved with all the preparations.
