BUSINESSES CHRISTMAS TRADING:

Carmel Bond is urging local businesses to compile a list of their trading hours, closures etc over the Christmas/New Year period and get this information to her.  It is to be displayed at Dayboro Cottage as well as on their website.

IS TECHNOLOGY GOING TOO FAR?
Developers at Washington University announced that they are one step closer to creating bionic contact lenses, which could be used to project emails directly into the eyes of the recipient . . . .
This would make the act of talking on your mobile phone whilst driving seem to pale by comparison with the distraction this could cause to your driving!!!   Talk about seeing spots before your eyes!!!  Surely if it is that urgent you would ring the person . . . . And if they needed that level of ‘contactability’ they would  have a hands free for their mobile phone!  Then, using their Smart Phone, once pulled over, they would open their email on that phone i.e. once alerted to its urgency via the phone call!!
