Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, said that Dayboro Show Society is set to receive a boost following the announcement of State Government funding.
She said Dayboro Agricultural, Horticultural and Industrial Association Inc would receive $9,728 in funding.

“From fairy floss to prize winning livestock, annual shows are a big event on every local calendar.
There are always displays and demonstrations to see, the biggest tractors to inspect as well as local art and produce to sample,” Carolyn Male MP said.
Carolyn further indicated that annual shows were an important part of the fabric of local communities and that showgrounds were also an important part of community infrastructure.
A whole range of community groups use showgrounds for festivals, exhibitions, sporting and cultural events and other occasions by a range of community groups.
Show societies can use this funding to maintain their assets as well as support the operating costs of running local shows.
