Dec12_LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Thank You: Injured Wildlife.
and
Thank You: Lost purse.
Thank You:
It’s nice to know there are so many caring and helpful people out there.
Sunday morning (18th November) around 9.30am I noticed a truck pulled over, and the driver on the opposite side of the road with a bird at his feet. I stopped to ask if I could help. He had moved an injured Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo from the middle of the road.
He helped me put the bird in a blanket I had in the car. Whilst phoning the local volunteer carers I know another gentleman pulled up to say his neighbour is a bird carer. I followed him to Tom and Janet’s house who were then taking the cockatoo to Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.
Thank you so much to Tom and Janet and all the volunteer carers out there who dedicate their time. Many thanks to the 2 gentlemen who also helped.
Fingers crossed the cockatoo pulls through.
Thank You:
I would like to thank the kind person who handed back the purse I lost. A very big thank you.
Rosemarie Rohlf.
