Thanks to the generosity of Queensland families, businesses and individuals the Leukaemia Foundation’s Doorknock Appeal is well on its way to reaching its fundraising target of $1.2 million!
From 19 July – 1 August, over 700,000 Queenslanders across the state opened their doors, hearts and wallets for the Foundation’s Doorknock Appeal bringing us one step closer to a leukaemia-free world.
To everyone who supported the campaign, thank you for helping us to continue to provide ongoing patient support services such as accommodation, counselling/emotional support, education and financial assistance, all at no cost to patients and their families. The money raised from this year’s event will go directly towards allowing us to continue our work in these areas.
Funds will also be used to fund cutting edge medical research aimed at finding the best possible treatments, and ultimately cures for all patients.
