Dear Editor Dec 2009

G’Day.  Just wanted to express my thanks to a great bunch of hard working Mums and Dads, to Robyn and Sadie who are so dedicated to our kids, and especially the committee of the Dayboro Kindy.

Robyn and Sadie made it an absolute pleasure to attend Kindy this year.  With two such passionate and caring individuals helping to shape our children’s futures we have been so lucky.  Robyn and Sadie have such a commitment to our children’s education, exposing the children to a variety of experiences.  The highlight was the sustainability program which involves recycling, gardening and chicken breeding.
As for the committee, which is full of quiet achievers, they need to be congratulated.  Without the effort of these dedicated volunteers the Kindy would be lost.  The level of professionalism I encountered was amazing.  They really run a smooth outfit.  Unaware of what I was in for, I jumped in and signed up as a fundraising coordinator.  I was overwhelmed by the level of commitment and team work these ladies showed.  All in all it was a great experience.  One that I will miss until 2011 when my next daughter attends.  I can’t wait.
I would encourage anyone thinking of going to Kindy to do so, and jump in and sign up for a job on the committee.
I look forward to my children’s educational years with this group of clever mums.
