On behalf of all members of Dayboro & District Rural Fire Brigade, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in our community a very Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year in 2009.
If you are travelling away over the Festive Season, please remember to drive safely – we want to see you back with us in 2009.

The "Open Day" the Brigade had tentatively-planned for September/October this year will now be held on Sunday, 8 February 2009, between 10am and 2pm. Come along and see just what the Rural Firies have spent your fire levy money on over the last few years – we are sure you will be more than happy with our efforts.
Even with all the rain that has fallen over the last month or so, you still need to be extremely vigilant when lighting a fire in the open.
Please contact your local Fire Warden before contemplating lighting that fire – they are there to help you.
Fire Wardens in the Dayboro & District Rural Fire Brigade area are :
Gary Fuller (Home: 3425 1321 – Mobile: 0417 626 325) for Dayboro, King Scrub, Rush Creek, Armstrong Creek and parts of Samsonvale;
Stan Chambers (Home: 3425 1231 – Mobile: 0427 200 937) for Mount Pleasant and Mount Brisbane; and
Dick Baker (Home: 3425 1515 – Mobile: 0419 701 428) for Laceys Creek.
Best wishes to you all.
