DAYBORO CWA NEWS

Handicraft Classes are held on 1st and 4th Friday of the month in the CWA Hall from 9.30 a.m. Cost $3. Everyone Welcome. Dayboro Show there will be a display in the main pavillion. Also on Sunday there will be a stall selling cakes, etc. outside the main pavillion.

Donation will be given to the Show Society to support the prizes for the Children’s Cookery Section.
Dayboro District Rural Fire Brigades will benefit from a raffle which we are organising. The prizes are a Tunisian Crochet throw made by Joycelynn Herburg, a Mohair Teddy Bear made by Cathy Ihm and a Dressed Doll donated by Bev Johnson. Tickets will be available at the Show and will be drawn at the Show.

Pamper Packs are being prepared containing gifts for males and females. These packs will be given to a busload of children attending the Ekka from drought-affected areas to take home to their parents.

AGM will be held 29 July at 10 a.m. followed by monthly meeting. No meeting on 15 July.
Branch International Day is to be held at Samford QCWA 2 September.
State Conference 28 – 31 October in City Hall, Brisbane.
