April Ladies Financial Day: this day was generously sponsored by Pine Rivers Bowls Club. President Athol Jensen attended on the day and joined us for lunch and presented the prizes. Norma McLeod’s Pine Rivers team were the winners and Alice Blackman’s Pine Rivers team were the runners-up. Spiders were won by Lou from Scarborough and Joan from Kallangur. Prouds Jewellers, of Strathpine, donated wine glasses, which were won by Beryl Nicholson, Scarborough. The fruit tray raffles were won by Kathy from Pine Rivers and Ann from Scarborough.
Mufti Nights: Our March night was cancelled due to rain and storms forecast. The April night was also cancelled because a few of us would be away. These nights will now be put on hold until summer.
Friday Night Dinners are proving very popular. Thank you to everyone who supports us.
Ladies Social Days: Wednesdays, 9 a.m. m/tea 9.30 a.m. play. Men also welcome on these days.
