Council to attend crime forum

Representatives from the Moreton Bay Regional Council will take part in a regional crime prevention forum to be held in Ipswich in May.

Mayor Allan Sutherland said speakers from around the world would attend the conference which was supported by the Queensland Police Service.
“The forum will address our changing world and how urban design can help create safe cities,” he said.
“There will also be a number of exhibits from Queensland Police, Community Supporting Police, Queensland Safe Communities Support Centre as well as a session on helping to combat graffiti.”
