Come and celebrate 150 Years at Samford Museum

Celebrating 150 years of Queensland’s History on Queensland Day, Sat 6th June 2009 at  Samford Museum.
There will be free entertainment provided by:

– Samford State School Choir
– Tenor James Corona of Channel 7’s Australia’s Got Talent
– Richard Harrison’s Fairground Organ designed and built in Samford; Organ music accompanied by drums, cymbals and glockenspiel under the watchful eye of a band-master
Come along and browse through displays of Samford’s history throughout the museum and see Samford of the past as captured on film in numerous photo albums.
You will also be able to read Samford and Pine Rivers history as recorded by residents and researchers.
You are most welcome to add your Samford photos and stories to Samford Museum’s collection.
There will be a Queensland style Sausage Sizzle on sale.
